The Net Return Pro Series Multi Sport Net Review

This product works exactly as advertised. I have it set up in my garage that has a 9' ceiling and I can hit every club from lob wedge through driver. I just bought the net and got the turf from a local Synlawn dealer. The amazing thing is how the net returns the ball to your hitting position. This is great for trying to create muscle memory. From the time you hit a shot until the ball is back ready to be hit again is about 2 or 3 seconds. If you are hitting at the rate of a shot every 5 to 10 seconds you can work through your whole bag very quickly. I have found that I typically don't even have to bend over to position the ball. My process is to setup, hit, analyze, setup and hit again. I would guess this process happens every 8 to 10 seconds. All with one ball. This is a great aid for trying little tweaks to your swing because the feedback is so quick. Of course you can't see the actual ball flight, but there is enough feedback by watching where the ball hits the net(follow the ball) and by the fact that a ball with a hook spin will come back to you slightly to the right of the centerline, and a slice spin will be returned to the left.

Before I bought this net, I was shooting around 100. My goal was to be able to break 80 by the end of the summer. Less than one month after receiving the net, I have already broken 90 and am consistently shooting in the mid 80's. I have used this net nearly every day. It's great to be able to watch a golf instruction show like the Golf Fix on the Golf Channel and then go out to the garage and try out some new drill. I was not sure that it was worth spending the extra money for this net when you can buy nets at the local golf store for a fraction of the price. I am so glad I spent the money. I was planning to use this both outside on a large wooden deck and in the garage. It assembled just as advertised. In the month that I have had it, I have not moved it outside. It is so convenient having it in the garage that I just leave it set up all the time so I can hit balls whenever the mood strikes me.

If you are contemplating buying a cheaper net, don't do it. Buy this net and you won't regret it.

Rolbak Basketball Guard Net 30 Foot Review

We have the Rolbak for a basketball hoop but we also have a wash full of Saguaros and other cacti, which means one Oops and you have a dead ball.We added this behind the Rolbak and it did the trick.

We scared some Javelinas (wild rodents that appear to be pigs, but aren't) and one ran through the end net.Three nylon attachments needed to be fixed and that's it.These are very tough nets folks!

Gared Sports Mongoose Wireless Indoor Outdoor Volleyball Net System Review

Easy to install and works as advertised. I was a bit skeptical about the sturdiness of the vollyball posts (no guy wires and no digging holes with cement) but once you insert the ground plate into the ground (with a 10" spike welded to the plate) and then drive the 24" aluminum spike through the plate's collar, the posts become extremely solid. The net was easy to put up and overall installation was about 15 minutes. Make sure you set up the rope perimeter first!!! This will allow for minor adjustments before you start driving the spikes. Also, the rope perimeter provides the correct distance for width of net (plates are to be installed 20" in from rope perimeter.

Some concerns:
The instructions for installation are poor. There is a metal piece that fits over the 24" aluminum spike that is used while driving the spikes into the ground. I found this out afterwards.

The directions call for a large hammer -- Better to use a sledge!!! Also, make sure you don't drive the stake even with the plate's collar. The picture is not really clear but the stake should remain about 1" above the collar.

Overall -- the design and quality far exceed the poor directions. We have been using the vollyball system for about 3 weeks and love it!!! 5 stars to no guy wires!!!

ATEC Pro Pitcher's Practice Screen with Stand Review

The ATEC Pro Pitcher's Practice Screen by Wilson is a very good product. I would recommend it to other parents and coaches for both boy's baseball and girl's softball.It is well made with heavy duty framework and catch screen. It is easy and quick to set and take down. It would be nice if it were to come with some sort of case. The screen attaches to the frame by eyelets that go into two hooks in the upper corners. The middle is secured by two ball-bungiee's that go through two eyelets and around the middle of the top frame. The only other draw-back besides not having a case is that the bottom corners should be secured also by bungiee's, if there is a breeze while practicing outside the screen will move back and forth. All in all a very good product.

Highland 95016 Black Truck Tailgate Net Review

This net fit perfectly on my 1999 chevy s10 ls.The other reviewer gave it a bad score because he bought the wrong one.There are three different sizes for different trucks so make sure you buy the right one.The installation took about 10 minutes and all I needed was a couple of drill bits and a drill.The net seemed to be made of a sort of plastic, but it seems pretty strong.The only thing I dont like is the quick release.It does work, but its not really an easy release.There are pins you have to take out and the bars contract which is a little difficult because the bars don't slide smoothly.I guess its quicker than having to take out screws and take it apart.I dont really take it on and off a lot so its not much of a big problem.Overall the net does what it needs to.The bars seem to be strong enough to keep stuff from falling out and the net seems to be strong also.The quality is above average and it improved the look of my truck over my rusted out tailgate.

Rawlings Pop Up Net Review

This is my second pop-up and the result is the same.It goes up beutifully out of the box but good luck trying to get it folded up again.They just don't fold up, despite the instructions they give you.And then you end up with a net that's bent out of shape when you use it again.It's just not worth it.For the price they charge, go with a regular net.It might take a few more minutes to set up but its well worth it when practice is over, and the storage will be the same.These pop-ups mught look good on a commercial but just don't work in real life.

For my sons 9th birthday my wife bought a bottom of the line pitchback.It did not have an adjustable center point so every ball did pretty much the same thing.

The Easton has the adjustable center so you can set it any way you like.It is also sturdy enough that it doesn't get knocked over when you hit it hard at the top.

Easy to put together and it appears to be okay sitting out in the rain (it's been outside all summer).

Lund 607003 Telescoping Cargo Bar With Net Review

Lund products are usually very nice and good accessories for trucks.I ordered this one for my husband as a Christmas present for use in a 2004 Full Size Dodge Pickup with a regular box.

When the bar was extended to the right length for the width of our pickup it was flimsy and not very strong. The net was not meant to be utilized with the bar extended this far and was too tight to be used to hold anything.

The chrome finish is very nice but hard to grab and hold onto to turn and adjust to remove or place in the box. Somehow I had the vision that there was a lever to release the tension but it was a push in the little buttons and turn type.

This bar might work good in a SUV rear cargo compartment - like a Durango or Trail Blazer

Rawlings Multi-Sport Training Net (10' X 7' X 5') Review

I bought this net for my 8 year old to work on his bat swing for baseball. He hits about 40-50 balls a day into the net and the net is holding up well. The only problem I have had is that one of the nylon feet has cracked but was easliy replaced with items available at the local discount store.

Park and Sun Sports Spectrum 179 Volleyball Set Review

Overall, the set is pretty good. The poles are very lightweight (aluminum) and easy to adjust with three different heights. Also, it is very easy to set-up and the tension rings work well. The ground stakes are also heavy duty and hold the guy lines very well. My only complaint with the system is the net design. One of the bottom loops (the net has 4 loops on each side) broke the first time I set up the system and I had to sew it back together. Also, this type of net does not allow for a really tight net for good "play out of the net" although it's not bad. I am planning to buy a better net but the rest of the system is pretty high quality. And for the price, less than 130 dollars, you won't find another set that has these very nice lightweight aluminum poles and the easy set-up so I have to recommend it but you probably will want a better net even for recreational play. Since I bought this the price has dropped even lower so I would definitely recommend at the current price.

Thenet extends several inches past the end of the table on both sides.The anchoring mechanism is very well made, It does not scratch the table and has both height and tension adjustments. The Avanti is a grade lower than I have expected.If I were to purchase another net, I would definitely go with the next grade one.This net has a cylindar that holds the net in-place that needs to be latched into an upright position that is more trouble than it is worth.In addition, the piece that clamps to the table is fairly small, and I was expecting the larger size clamps.I also had a player hit the ball to the net and the latching mechanism on the cylinder unhooked and the net collapsed, which is very bad.Too bad I purchase two of them.
